Research field:
1. Photochemistry of dyes:
Dye supramolecules are designed with electron donor or acceptor. These systems are used to improve their functional characters such as NIR absorption and emission, two-photon absorption, time-resolve fluorescent emission, and ratio-fluorescent emission, with large Stokes Shift and good stabilities. Digital printings and photo-electron conversion are their current applications.
2. Fluorescent dyes for bio-imaging and bio-labeling:
Novel fluorescent dyes and their photo-induced electron transfer, charge transfer and energy transfer are investigated. These dyes are used as chemosensor for bio-analysis, environmental detection, and medical diagnosis.
3. Clean preparation technology for fine chemicals
New and environment-friendly organic synthesis routes, technology and product engineering are developed.

Curriculum Vitae:
She received a doctor's degree from the department of Dalian university of technology and engaged in postdoctoral research at the University of South Carolina in the United States. Now she is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at state key laboratory of fine chemicals in Dalian university of technology. She was selected awarded "excellent talent of ministry of education in the new century" plan in 2012 and annual youth awards in Dalian in 2013. She was awarded the second prize of the national natural science 2013, 2012 the ministry of education natural science first prize and second prize of national technological invention in 2006. She Published more than 50 papers (46 papers recorded in SCI, 16 papers recorded in EI, including JACS, Angwante Chemie and Chem. Soc. Rev). She was authorized more than 10 invention patents in China and the United States more than 10 patents. She took charge of national natural science foundation projects, ministry of science and technology, liaoning province and the ministry of education fund project items.
Research field:
She mainly engaged in the fluorescent dyes and molecular probes, fluorescent biological imaging, nanoparticles coating and Fluorescent tracing drug release studies.

Wen Sun received his Ph.D degree in 2017 from Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research. He joined Dalian University of Technology as an Associate Professor of State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals from 2018.
